Calif. Police Pull Suicidal Woman From Bridge
PASADENA - Police and firefighters pulled suicidal 22-year-old woman down from the Colorado Street Bridge Sunday, officials said.
Officials received a report that the woman was threatening to jump from the bridge about 4 p.m., according to Pasadena Fire Department officials.
When firefighters arrived, police were already on the outer ledge of the bridge with the woman, officials said.
Firefighters helped police secure the woman with a rope and bring her back over the safety fence. She was taken to an area hospital for mental evaluation.
