Wis. Man Allegedly Does $1M in Graffiti Damage

July 04--An Onalaska man on bond for graffiti violations faces additional charges after police found more than 150 spray paint cans and what they call a graffiti-covered "practice billboard" in his backyard.

Police say 20-year-old Bryant Koscianski is responsible for painting "SMEK" and "NRC" on numerous buildings and parking ramps since October and faces charges in Minnesota for doing an estimated $1 million in damage to railroad equipment in La Crescent.

Koscianski was cited with 39 municipal violations that carry a total of $6,903 in fines after police searched his residence at W6792 Kramer Road Thursday. He was also charged with misdemeanor bail jumping for possessing paint cans in violation of his bond for pending graffiti charges filed in February and May.
