Idaho Deputy Ejected in Crash Is Recovering

The Camas County sheriff's deputy, who was not wearing a seat belt, crashed while attempting to make a traffic stop. He was ejected after loosing control of his vehicle which rolled several times.

July 02--KETCHUMKETCHUM -- 29-year-old Camas County sheriff's deputy who wrecked on U.S. Highway 20 near Fairfield on Saturday was taken by air ambulance to St. Luke's Wood River. Hospital officials declined to provide a condition status on Johnathan Graybill on Sunday, but an Elmore County dispatch official fielding calls for the Camas County Sheriff's Office said Graybill is "doing well."

Graybill crashed while attempting to make a traffic stop. He lost control of the Chevy Tahoe he was driving while passing a car, according to Idaho State Police. The SUV rolled several times and Graybill was ejected. He was not wearing a seat belt, ISP said.
