May 22--JOHNSTOWN -- A Cambria County judge Monday upheld one summary charge and dismissed another on appeal from a transgender Socialist.

The hearing in the county courtroom at the Central Park Complex in Johnstown focused on establishing defendant Katherine Anne McKloskey's actions and intent during a physical altercation with Richland Township police and Pitt-Johnstown campus security that led to her arrest. The Vinco woman was arrested on the UPJ campus Nov. 28 and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct.

The argument escalated when campus security found McKloskey's spouse, Seamus Johnston -- a transgender male -- using the men's locker room, something UPJ officials said Johnston had been warned about previously.

After more than four hours, Judge Norman Krumenacker found McKloskey innocent of the unreasonable noise charge, but guilty of creating a hazardous situation.

McKloskey, formally charged as Gabriel Ross, was ordered to pay a $50 fine and court fees.
