Man Spits on Pa. Chief at Perry County Prison

A prisoner in the Perry County Prison faces several charges after he allegedly resisted arrest and spat on the police chief and a fellow officer.

May 07--State police at Newport said Michael Siluk III, 23, of Pottsville was arrested and taken to Perry County Prison at 3:33 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.

Upon arrival at the prison, Siluk resisted arrest and spat on the police chief and a fellow officer, police said.

Siluk was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, assault by a prisoner, aggravated harassment by a prisoner, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, one count of resisting arrest and public drunkenness, police said.

Siluk is currently being held in Perry County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail, police said.
