Wrong-Way Driver Hits Conn. Police Car On I-95

A crash that involved a wrong-way driver and reportedly injured a state trooper shut down the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 27 late Thursday night.

April 13--BRIDGEPORT -- A crash that involved a wrong-way driver and reportedly injured a state trooper shut down the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 27 late Thursday night.

The wrong-way driver hit two cars, including a state police car, in the crash, which happened at about 10:25 p.m.

The trooper was reportedly taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport. Information about the extent of any injuries was not available.
