MANCHESTER — A Danville man was arrested yesterday on numerous counts of forging prescriptions.
Paul Vennochi, 37, was arrested at Catholic Medical Center Hospital by New Hampshire State Police.
He faces 11 counts of uttering a forged prescription.
Police said the arrest followed a two-month investigation.
State police yesterday received a tip that Vennochi was in the emergency room at the Manchester hospital and arrested him there, according to Sgt. Jennifer MacKenzie of the NHSP Narcotics and Investigations Unit.
Vennochi was processed at the hospital, then released due to his medical condition, police said.
He is scheduled to appear in 10th Circuit Court in Plaistow at 8 a.m. on April 9.
