An off-duty police officer heard a woman screaming for help and rushed into a burning home, said Phil Champagne with the Denver Fire Department.

It happened on South Decatur Street near Yale Avenue around noon.

The neighbor told firefighters that the woman was screaming, ?My baby is still in there,? as her home burned.

The neighbor ran into the home and helped get another woman and two children out of the home, Champagne said.

One woman and one child were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
