Dec. 21--FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- A Spotsylvania woman has been arrested in the theft of a baby Jesus figure from a Nativity scene at a popular Fredericksburg shopping center.

Amanda Crelia, 25, was charged this morning with grand larceny, a felony, for her role in taking the figure from the Central Park shopping center last week.

Creila was caught after posting a photo of the figure on her Facebook page, which a concerned citizen printed and gave to police.

The Jesus figure was recovered after Crelia led detectives to the father's home, where the statue had been hidden inside the garage. Police said Crelia's father was unaware the figure was there.
