Aggravated assault charges are pending against the suspect, Raymond Lee Mason, 27, Houston police spokesman John Cannon said.
Investigators said the suspect was kicked out of Link Lounge at 2901 Fannin shortly before 2:45 a.m.
After he left the club on foot, Mason got into an argument with the group in the 1100 block of Tuam and produced a gun, report show.
