FAYETTEVILLE - Saturday, Dec. 17 - Police are looking for someone who reportedly created and threw a Molotov cocktail which was found Friday on the roof of the Fayetteville Fire Department.

Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Jeffrey Sarver said the incendiary device did not burn properly, so a fire was not started. The 20-ounce plastic bottle had a rag stuffed into it and was lit, then apparently thrown onto the roof of the bunk room at the fire station, 101 W. Main St., Fayetteville.

Sarver said workers with Kelly Roofing were doing repairs about 1 p.m. when they found the bottle in the northwest corner of the building's roof.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, at 264-5161.
