Police recovered a stolen vehicle used in an armed robbery on Saturday but haven't arrested any suspects, detectives said.

The Family Dollar store at 8716 E. 21st St. was robbed about 9:30 p.m., said Detective Demita Kinard with the Tulsa Police Department.

Three suspects made off with money from a cash register after employees were unable to access the safe, Kinard said Sunday.

Police believe three men were involved. Witnesses told police the assailants displayed a pistol and a shotgun.

The men left in a Chevrolet Blazer that police located in a neighborhood near the store at 10 p.m., Kinard said. Police determined the Blazer was stolen about 1:30 p.m. near Pine Street and North Harvard Avenue.

A detailed description of the assailants was unavailable Sunday night.
