Conn. Janitor Took Gun to School
Dec. 07--WATERBURY --
Cody Willette, 25, of Woodbury, was working at the school on Sunday when he apparently left the firearm on a counter in a classroom, Waterbury police Capt. Chris Corbett said.
The gun was discovered Monday morning by a teacher. Willette was arrested a short time later, police said.
Corbett said Willette does have a valid permit to carry the pistol.
Willette was charged with reckless endangerment and failing to properly store a firearm.
The school system placed him on administrative leave, Corbett said.
