California Police Spot Stolen Car, Make Arrest

The driver told police he had bought the vehicle but did not provide any evidence of the transaction.

Police arrested a man early Sunday on suspicion of possessing a stolen car.

At about 1:15 a.m., Vallejo police saw a blue BMW M3 at a Shell gas station. The car had been reported stolen Oct. 20 in Vallejo.

When approached, the driver told police he had bought the vehicle but did not provide any evidence of the transaction, police said.

Charles Ford, 40, of Vallejo was then arrested and booked into Solano County jail. He was also determined to be on active parole, police added.
