BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania man faces theft charges after police say he stole an Xbox video game system from a store after being turned down for a job there.

The Morning Call of Allentown reports 23-year-old Timothy Joseph Mandes is also charged with resisting arrest because he tussled with officers trying to arrest him.

Investigators say Mandes had applied for a job at a Best Buy store in Bethlehem Township. When he was turned down following a November 2 interview, police say he stuffed an Xbox down his pants and left the store.

The Morning Call report (http://bit.ly/tNq2fK) says the store manager reviewed surveillance footage and reported the theft to police. Mandes was arrested two days later.

Mandes was released on bail. A phone listing for him could not immediately be located.
