Vehicle Falls From Car Carrier Near Downtown Indy
INDIANAPOLIS
A vehicle fell from a car carrier and exploded on Interstate 65 near the Interstate 70 split in downtown Indianapolis late Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 11 p.m., officials said.
A state bridge inspector was called to the scene to check the overpass for damages.
The fire was put out a short time later and no injuries were reported, officials said.
Police said the accident remained under investigation.
