N.C. Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting at Fire Station

Maiden police are stepping up patrols around one of their fire station after someone fire shots into the building.

MAIDEN, N.C.

Maiden police are stepping up patrols around one of their fire station after someone fire shots into the building.

Police said someone fires at least two shots from a 9-mm handgun into the fire department early Friday.

No one was in the building at the time, but one of the fire trucks was hit, officials said. 

Police believe it was a drive-by shooting.
