Maryland Trooper-Involved Crash Closes I-95

A crash in the White Marsh area involving a Maryland State Police trooper closed both directions of Interstate 95 overnight.

WHITE MARSH, Md. --

A crash in the White Marsh area involving a Maryland State Police trooper closed both directions of Interstate 95 overnight.

State police said a trooper was involved in a crash in the southbound lanes of I-95 near White Marsh. The circumstances of the crash were not immediately known.

Troopers closed both directions of the highway shortly after midnight Saturday to allow a Medevac helicopter to land to fly the trooper to a local hospital.

State police said the trooper suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. It was not immediately known if any others were injured.
