STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --
Authorities in Centre County said they are searching for the man who robbed four convenience stores at gunpoint within 15 minutes early Saturday morning.
Investigators with the State College Police Department told WJAC-TV that clerks were held-up inside the Sheetz at 2000 East College Ave., 1781 North Atherton St. and 101 Valley Vista Drive, as well as the Uni-Mart at 1381 East College Ave., around 2 a.m.
Police described the armed robber as a 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-tall caucasian man with brown eyes, wearing head-to-toe black clothing, as well as gloves and a ski mask.
The man reportedly showed employees a semi-automatic pistol during each of the robberies, but no injuries were reported.
Eyewitnesses told police that the man left the scene of each robbery in a dark 2011 Kia SUV with a Pennsylvania license plate.
Officials haven’t said if the man was able to get away with cash and what direction he was last seen driving, but at least one of the crimes was caught on surveillance camera.
Anyone with information about the armed robberies is urged to call the State College Police Department at 814-234-7150.
