Five Shot Leaving Colorado Wedding Reception

Five people were shot early Sunday morning as they were leaving a wedding reception. Shots were fired into the crowd outside the Ready Room Bar at 1141 Syracuse St. in Denver at around 12:30 a.m., Denver police spokesman Lt. Matt Murray said.

Five people were shot early Sunday morning as they were leaving a wedding reception.

Shots were fired into the crowd outside the Ready Room Bar at 1141 Syracuse St. in Denver at around 12:30 a.m., Denver police spokesman Lt. Matt Murray said.

None of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries. One person was shot in the face and another was shot in the leg. Those victims were transported to Denver Health Medical Center. Three other victims sustained grazing wounds and were sent to a hospital in Aurora.

There were no suspects in custody, Murray said. Police were looking for witnesses to assist with the investigation.
