More than two dozen people were arrested and facing narcotics charges after a multi-agency gang sweep Thursday morning.
The pre-dawn raids started as early as 4:30 a.m. Thursday and covered a wide part of the city from Baldwin Hills to San Pedro.
Many of the suspects were already facing local and federal arrest warrants.

The sweep, conducted by the FBI as well as narcotics teams from LAPD, was aimed at members and associated of the P-Stone Bloods gang based in Baldwin Village.
Investigators have targeted the group for years, having arrested 28 members of the gang's leaders over 6 years ago. All of the charges are related to drug offenses.
As many as 35 suspects were taken to the L.A. Sports Arena to be processed.
Last month, 80 people were arrested in a sweep targeting San Pedro gang members.
