Two Maryland Officers Hurt in Crash

Two Anne Arundel County police officers were involved in an early-morning accident, said authorities.

LINTHICUM, Md. --

Two Anne Arundel County police officers were involved in an early-morning accident, said authorities.

The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. Sunday on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway southbound Route 295 near the Nursery Road exit in Linthicum.

Anne Arundel County police said both officers were taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

One officer suffered a hip injury. The second officer suffered a leg injury.

Authorities have not said what led to the crash. The names of the officers were not released.
