Ex-Tenn. Officer Jailed for Fatal Shooting After Chase

The unarmed man was shot and killed after a pursuit.

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. --

A former Humboldt police officer was sentenced to prison for shooting an unarmed man.

Paul Carrier, 31, will spend the next two years in prison, according to WSMV's news partners at The Leaf Chronicle.

Carrier shot and killed Roy Glenn Jr. in 2009 following a traffic stop and chase.

Carrier testified his gun accidentally fired while he was trying to arrest Glenn.
