A Pennsylvania State Police trooper has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in connection with a crash involving an off-duty trooper.
Trooper Ryan Henschell of the Phillipsburg barracks was charged in connection to an incident while he was on patrol March 20, according to The Clearfield Progress.
The newspaper reported that Henschell responded after an off-duty trooper crashed his vehicle. Henschell was accused of taking the man, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, from the scene to a store to buy mints and gum, then drove him back.
Henschell is expected to be sentenced next month.
