    An Oklahoma City police lieutenant was injured in a Wednesday morning car crash.

    The accident happened in the 5400 block of South Douglas Boulevard around 8 a.m.

    The lieutenant was taken to the OU Medical Center for back injuries.

    No further information was immediately available.
