Haughton Attack in Brookfield

Jan. 2, 2018
Another example of an active shooter event wherein prevention was possible and improvised explosive devices were on scene.

In an earlier piece we saw how one ex-husband went into a hair salon to kill his estranged wife… and he killed several others as well.  In another example of, “you just never know when or where,” and potentially domestic related, on October 21, 2012, at the Azana Spa in Brookfield, Wisconsin, a man shot and killed three women, shot and injured four others and then killed himself.

Brookfield is a medium sized city located not far from Milwaukee in southeast Wisconsin. The shooter, one Radcliffe Franklin Haughton, was originally from Jamaica but moved to the United States as an adult and had served in the Marine Corps.
