The InnovaBoard is a backboard designed by a neurosurgeon to reduce pressure point trauma associated with backboard transports. This backboard is made of lightweight plastic with strategically located durable inserts, which pad pressure points. By padding the contact areas between the board and the skull, shoulder blades, spine, hips and heels, tissue perfusion is improved and pain is drastically reduced. The pads are easily cleansed and can be replaced if needed. Achieve full spinal immobilization with patient comfort. There is nothing to assemble or inflate on scene. X-ray and MRI translucent. The surface is smooth for ease of extrication. Decreases patient voluntary movement because of comfort.
