Innovative Coachwork's primary focus is on the remounting, refurbishment and service of emergency vehicles. The Type I Standard Remount is backed by a 60-month, 60,000 mile warranty. Remount procedures include repainting the entire module exterior before remounting on the new chassis; inspecting body and framing for structural integrity; and installing a new read kick panel, stone guards, skirt rails, fender flares and rear step bumper with flip-up step. For the inside, the existing floor is removed and replaced with vinyl. Any cabinet repairs are made and any upholstery, including the attendant seat, is replaced. As only part of the electrical work, new wiring is a installed and enclosed in a plastic loom rated 300 degrees. Warning and scene lights are replaced with new as is heating, ventilation and A/C systems.
