HAL Heavy Duty Tripod

Aug. 20, 2007
The HAL Heavy Duty Tripod is designed for lifting or moving heavy objects up to 2260 kilograms, during explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) operations where no natural or manmade assistance is present. It is suitable for both conventional munitions disposal and improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD), tasks involving substantial artillery items. Despite being immensely strong and of significant size and weight, Allen-Vanguard's tripod is extremely portable, making it a very useful accessory in the field. It is constructed from high-strength aluminium and is equipped with a full set of heat-treated anchor pegs and a weather-resistant reinforced nylon transport case.
