Lindon, UT – March, 12, 2014 – AccessData, the leader in incident resolution technology, today announced the first recipients of the AccessData Forensic Endowment Program (ADFEP) honoring the Mississippi Gulf Coast Cyber Crimes Task Force and the City of Glendale, Arizona Police Department. AccessData awards these agencies with a state-of-the-art lab and advanced forensic technologies to improve their investigations. The goal is to transform the standard approach to digital investigations so law enforcement organizations can close cases more efficiently and effectively.
Created in August 2013, the award is geared toward U.S., state and local law enforcement agencies. Each year, the ADFEP is awarded to two agencies who in turn receive a version of the AccessData Lab. They also receive AccessData’s premier support services and training for each member of the team through the award’s one-year period.
“Both organizations presented strong business cases illustrating the strategic and critical need for AccessData Lab to be implemented in their environment,” said Devin Krugly, VP of marketing and business development at AccessData. “This award enables both organizations to meet the demands of their current caseload, as well as enable a vigorous forward-facing strategy in order to keep pace with the rapid growth of their investigative and cyber security responsibilities.”
AccessData Lab is a robust and collaborative solution critical in helping overcome case backlog through collaborative review and analysis. Along with streamlining the investigative process, AccessData Lab offers massive processing power.
AccessData would like to thank all the organizations that applied for the first annual ADFEP award. There was an overwhelming response and we look forward to awarding two new recipients later this year.
