SAN DIEGO, CA (NOVEMBER 18, 2013) – Public Safety agencies in Anoka County in Minnesota have selected TriTech’s Inform Suite as the foundation of their upgraded public safety technology platform. The Anoka County collaborative’s initiative for a new public safety enterprise is driven by the need for seamless integration of applications in its 911 center, law enforcement, jail, and fire agencies. • Anoka County, located on the northern side of the Twin Cities Metro Area is home to 336,000 residents and is one of the fastest growing counties in Minnesota. The County, together with the Joint Law Enforcement Council (JLEC) and Fire Protection Council, has signed a contract to purchase and implement TriTech’s Inform Suite including computer aided dispatch (CAD), mobile data, data search and analytics, and records management (RMS) solutions. The TriTech suite of products will serve as the platform of integrated information systems across the County’s public safety agencies which include the 11 law enforcement agencies in the JLEC, 15 fire agencies in the Fire Protection Council, the county jail, and Central Communications which dispatches for all 21 communities in Anoka County.
• The new TriTech solutions replace a 30-year old CAD system and 14-year old police records system and provide a new level of integration to improve operations and emergency response.
