L-Tron Corporation will be a sponsoring exhibitor at the Iowa TraCS Statewide User Group Meeting on October 24, 2013 in Des Moines, Iowa. L-Tron will also exhibit at the COPSWEST Leadership Summit & Expo from November 4-6, 2013 in Ontario, California. The Company will showcase its 4910LR Microphone-Style Driver’s License Reader and the Dolphin™ 70e Black rugged smartphone hybrid with CrimeView NearMe Policing App and Remote Equipment Management.
The aggressive 4910LR, released in April 2013, is powered by Honeywell’s Adaptus® Imaging Technology 6.0, and facilitates e-ticketing, accident reporting, and other administrative task completion, virtually eliminating manual errors and lowering the occurrence of reduced and dismissed violations. Constructed in a portable, compact radio microphone form-factor, the 4910LR features laser-free scanning and a coiled USB interface cable for safety and convenience. The 4910 is fully compatible with TraCS and other preferred Law Enforcement software programs, capturing barcode data, images and signatures from driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations and mobile displays.
Dolphin 70e Black, by Honeywell, is a lightweight, pocket-sized device, durable enough to withstand the rigors of daily Law Enforcement use. Dolphin Black enables Officers to scan barcodes on licenses, collect and retrieve critical data, and access the internet on a display that is readable in all lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. When combined with Honeywell’s Remote Equipment Management and The Omega Group’s CrimeView NearMe Mobile App, Dolphin Black provides streamlined proximity-based crime correlation services to Officers on the street and at the station. This technology allows for efficient call response time, crime pattern identification, expedited solving of crime, and even prevention of repeat offenses through the informed decision making that is based on real data from the surrounding area.
