Click2Enter, Inc. is very pleased to announce the release of the next generation of the Click2Enter-I emergency gate, door, and general access control system, the Click2Enter-I Version 4 (C2E-IV.4). The result of over two years of design development and more than ten years of operational experience, the C2E-IV.4 expands the existing capabilities of the system to meet the needs of virtually all public safety services across the country.
The main improvements of the C2E-IV.4 are the addition of 700 Mhz capability, the expansion of the frequency capacity from 50 channels to 100 channels, better cold weather performance, all packaged in a smaller enclosure.
The fundamental operation and programming of the C2E-IV.4 remains unchanged. Using free software provided by Click2Enter, Inc. installers and system managers can easily program using their laptop computer.

“As a retired law enforcement officer, I can tell you that the last thing I wanted to do when responding to a call was to attract attention to myself by flashing my lights or yelping my siren, “ said Sutsos. These serious flaws inherent in the other systems then available in the market led to the invention of the Click2Enter-I system in 1998.
“We wanted to design a product that would allow public safety officials to open gates and doors for both patrol and emergency response situations in a safe, silent, and secure way,” explained Sutsos. “I can tell you from experience and from talking with many law enforcement, fire, and EMS assets across the country, gate access in this age of gate, fences, and increased security is a major problem.”
A good example of the use of the Click2Enter, Inc. system is on school doors. Using electromechanical locks, public safety officials can respond to emergency situations and gain access to a school building using their standard-issue communication radios. Officer access is made possible with no need for school staff to open doors or unlock access points.
The Click2Enter, Inc. system operates using the un-modified transceiver radios that all public safety agencies already own. By programming the C2E-I and C2E-IV.4 to “listen” for the frequencies chosen by the specific locality, public safety assets can open gates and doors with merely a click of their radio.
