Plainview, N.Y. -- Combined Systems, Inc. ("CSI") is pleased to announce that Donald M. "Deac" Heilig has joined the company as Director of Business Development for its U.S. Military business.

"Deac's background with the U.S. Army and most recently with the USSOCOM will provide great assistance to CSI in its efforts to support the warfighter with CSI's cutting edge product line" he added.
Mr. Heilig's joins CSI with more than 20 years experience working with the U.S. Army in various high level positions. His positions have included serving as a Systems Acquisition Manager and Project Manager, and most recently as Operational Test Officer, where he tested and evaluated programs for the U.S. Special Operations Command Group. During his tenure, Deac has held several command and leaderships positions. He has been honored with various awards and commendations for outstanding leadership, general management, and field operations and currently holds rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
In his new role, Mr. Heilig will serve as a key member of the management team for the U.S. Military division. He will be responsible for overseeing management and all marketing functions for the U.S. Military business segment and will be the central point of contact and the principal driver in the continued development of CSI's U.S. military business. Mr. Heilig will report to Richard Edge, CSI's Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Heilig holds a B.S. in Education from Augusta State College as well as a Masters in General Administration from Central Michigan University. He will be based in Tampa, Florida.
