When Buck Knives introduced the rebirth of their classic Kalinga hunting knife, the four new Pro models were given a warm welcome, followed quickly by inquiries about making the same fixed-blade and folder with camouflage handles.

Being customer-driven, Buck now offers two additional Kalinga Pro models -- fixed-blade and folder, both with Realtree Hardwoods Green® HDTM camo pattern on the handle and on the matching heavy-duty nylon sheath.

All of the new Kalingas couple the original styling with today's technology. The impressive upswept blade is complemented with a contoured handle that has finger grooves and integrated guard.

The full-tang blade on the Model 406CM fixed-blade, made of 420HC steel, is a 4-7/8" skinner. Overall, it's 10-1/8" long and weighs 7.6 oz. The handle is textured, glass-reinforced nylon over the stainless steel frame. MSRP is $85.

The Folding Kalinga Pro (Model 415CM) has a 3-7/8" blade in the same efficient upswept shape, made of 420HC steel. The convenient one-hand open/close action of this liner-lock is super-smooth thanks to phosphor-bronze bushings. Closed, the 415CM is 5-1/4" and it weighs 6.2 oz. MSRP, $95.

Made in America, these Kalingas are finished with Buck's advanced Edge2xTM technology, making them sharper out of the box, hold an edge longer and easier to re-sharpen; and they are backed by Buck's famous unconditional lifetime warranty.
