The IJIS Institute announced results of the election for the Board of Directors. The membership elected the following new president, executive committee members and new directors, all of whom have substantial experience in the information technology field as applied to law enforcement, homeland security, and justice systems.

Ashburn, VA-- The IJIS Institute announced results of the election for the Board of Directors. The membership elected the following new president, executive committee members and new directors, all of whom have substantial experience in the information technology field as applied to law enforcement, homeland security, and justice systems:

IJIS Executive Committee

  • Bruce Kelling, President (Bask Enterprises)
  • Glenn Archer, Vice President (ARC Consulting)
  • Mike Lyons, Treasurer (VisionAIR)
  • Mary Ellen Condon, Secretary (SRA International)
  • Betty Kelepecz, At-Large Executive Committee Member (Crossflo)

In addition to announcing the election results for the IJIS Board of Directors, a new chair of the IJIS Public Safety Technical Standards Committee (IPSTSC) has also been named. Steve Hoggard of Spillman Technologies will now be chairing this committee.

The IJIS Institute is a non-profit consortium of 200 companies who specialize in developing information technology services and products for the public and justice communities. The Institute is funded by membership dues and grants provided by the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the Office of Justice Programs of the U.S. Department of Justice to provide technology assistance, training and educational programs to local, state, and tribal agencies, and to help develop open standards for information sharing.
