Decatur Unveils New CodePal Inspection Software
DECATUR, IL -- Decatur Electronics, Inc. unveils this month inspection software allowing quick and easy in-the-field data entry, and back-office analysis and record keeping through a partnership with Sybatech, Inc.
The CodePal software suite has been designed specifically for inspectors and may be used in a variety of applications ranging from fire department inspections to municipal building code inspections as well as industrial, educational and other inspection based applications.
Inspection codes may be imported into CodePal. Extensive checklists for inspections are then constructed from those codes on a desktop computer. Administrative staff can schedule and plan inspections as well as access a database of inspection history for a particular location.
The field users with a portable computer can tick boxes based on the checklist set up. Inspectors may generate and print in-the-field reports, violations etc.
When the inspector returns to the office they synch their day's inspections and data to the central database automatically, reducing paperwork and administrative time.
