The DutyCAM 1's built in IR light emitters allows officers to record in near darkness lighting. The DutyCAM's one touch record button automatically triggers video and audio recording of the incident. A record security LOCK button guards against accidental ending of the recording.

Costing about a 1/10 of the cost of most in car video systems, the Custody DutyCAM 1 gives officers the opportunity to record evidence from their viewpoint and perspective. In car camera system only give you images of the officer when the subject remains in their vehicle. The DutyCAM 1 records unbiased, on scene statements and audio visual evidence that can be docked to any PC with Microsoft Media Player within the agency without the need for special software or training. DVD's can be burned and the SD disc can be recycled, thus saving media cost. The DutyCAM(tm) 2 is both a video recorder and player allows the officer to wear a covert button camera attached to his uniform. The embedded color LCD monitor allows field confirmation of the recording, as well as, audio video playback of via the internal monitor or outputs to a standard TV monitor. MPEG 4 Video format.
The DutyCAM(tm) 3 is a headset video camera configuration paired with Custody Digital DutyCAM(tm) 3 digital video recorder.
