ActionAirgun LLC has launched a new, fast-paced action shooting sport. "Using safe, modern, realistic airsoft equipment and the global scale and technology of the internet we've created the first world wide shooting league. There is nothing like this in any sport," says ActionAirgun creator and director Collins White. "Using the Internet to connect shooters from around the world in a competitive arena is a truly unique approach to a shooting sport."
Great fun for experienced shooters looking to stay sharp, and educational for groups of beginning shooters learning about firearm safety. ActionAirgun is a target shooting sport that can be played by any individual or group with an available 8' by 16' area, utilizing a safe and standardized, high quality airsoft pistol. Spare rooms, garages, meeting rooms, basements, gymnasiums, etc. are perfect sites to set up a range.
Each week shooters download three courses of fire (COFs) from the ActionAirgun website. Individual shooters are given up to one week to practice and then shoot three times for an official score. Individual or group (called a Fireteam) scores are entered into the ActionAirgun website where they will be automatically calculated and ranked. The site's searchable database allows shooters from all over the world to compare their scores.
The cornerstone of ActionAirgun is the all-inclusive shooting kit and support provided by the website. Advanced Shooting Kit™ contains everything you need to get started: an all metal blowback CO2 powered 1911 style airsoft gun, timer, targets, holster, CO2, pellets, safety glasses, and target stands. Each Advanced Shooting Kit™ can support multiple shooters.
