Nov. 23--A 57-year-old Hallandale Beach man, who was arrested on a sex charge and again on a drug charge, has been re-arrested for violating the terms of his pre-trial release, according to Hallandale Beach Police.
On Oct. 22, David Becker, a registered sex offender, was arrested for attempted sexual battery on a minor and was issued no bond. On Nov. 11, Becker obtained a bond hearing and was released from the Broward County Jail, court records showed.
On Monday, police were called to Becker's home for an armed robbery that turned out to be a false alarm but officers arrested Becker for allegedly hosting a crack cocaine cooking and smoking party. Becker was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana and tampering with evidence, detectives said.
On Tuesday, at around 5 a.m., Becker was released from the Broward County Jail once again after being issued and paying another bond. By 10 a.m., he was arrested a third time for violating the terms of his pre-trial release agreement on the sex charge. He's being held with no bond, police said.
