Wis. Man Cited for Allegedly Butt Slapping Female Officer

Police in Wisconsin said a 21-year-old man received a disorderly conduct citation for allegedly slapping a female police officer on the buttocks.

Madison police said the officer was on bike patrol during the Freakfest event in the State Street area about 12:35 a.m. Sunday when the man slapped her on the rear, touching her service weapon in the process, The Capital Times, Madison, reported Wednesday.

Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain said the officer handcuffed the man, who apologized for his actions before being issued the citation.
