A Salt Lake City police cruiser hit a man on a bicycle who police say was fleeing from officers Tuesday night.
Officers spotted the man, who was wanted on a robbery warrant, near 900 South and State about 8:30 p.m., said Salt Lake police Lt. Josh Scharman.
Officers chased the man through an alley, and at some point he rode out in front of an officer's vehicle near 1000 South and Main, Scharman said.
The man was taken to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Scharman said an outside agency will investigate the crash. Alt Heads:
