120 Gallons of Syrup Stolen From Vermont Sugarhouses

Vermont State Police say they're investigating the theft of 120 gallons of maple syrup in two Franklin County burglaries.

ENOSBURG (AP) - Vermont State Police say they're investigating the theft of 120 gallons of maple syrup in two Franklin County burglaries.

Police say three, 40-gallon drums of syrup were stolen Sunday from sugar houses in Enosburg and Fairfield.

The Enosburg location was burglarized overnight Sunday. The Fairfield location was burglarized Sunday morning.

The three drums were white and had serial numbers.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the state police in St. Albans.
