Houston's police chief revived a photographer who collapsed at a press conference Friday afternoon, according to KRIV-TV
Police Chief Charles McClelland on hand as Mayor Annise Parker addressed the media when independent photographer Tony Morris passed out and stopped breathing.
McClelland jumped to his aid and performed CPR to revive him, according to the report.
Morris regained consciousness after several minutes and was transport to a local hospital to be checked out and is expected to be OK.
"It made me feel great," McClelland told the news station. "It made me feel great Tony was going to be all right and that I did anything to help him get through his crisis. I'd expect any police officer in uniform to do the same thing if they came upon a situation like that."
