BOSTON --

Fourteen college-age students were arrested after police allegedly found them packed into one sport utility vehicle in Norton.

Norton police stopped the SUV early Saturday morning on East Main Street near the police station. Police said they found alcohol in the vehicle.

Officers told the Taunton Gazette that the students -- mostly from Wheaton College -- were piled on top of each other in the five-seat vehicle.

In addition to alcohol possession charges, each student was charged with a seat belt violation.
