Minn. Deputy Injured in Two-Car Collision

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to and assisted the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department with a two vehicle -- injury crash at the intersection of Otter Tail County Road 21 and County Road 28, in northwestern Otter Tail County.

March 14--The Minnesota State Patrol responded to and assisted the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department with a two vehicle -- injury crash at the intersection of Otter Tail County Road 21 and County Road 28, in northwestern Otter Tail County.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:00 am and involved two vehicles; one of those was an Otter Tail County squad car.

The vehicle being driven by Hannah Miller, 22 years of age, of Rothsay, failed to stop at a stop sign and yield the right of way to the squad car. The squad car rolled over after being struck. The Otter Tail County Deputy was transported by ambulance to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

The deputy's injuries are believed to be non-serious. The State Patrol cited Miller for "fail to yield right of way" and "no seat belt use".
