This course bridges the gap between the Standardized Field Sobriety and Drug Recognition Expert courses. You will learn how to observe, identify and articulate the signs of impairment related to drugs, alcohol or a combination of both. You will be given an overview of the seven drug categories, their physiological effects, and medical conditions that can produce similar signs of impairment. We will also explain the legal issues and arrest procedures associated with impaired driving.
