Forensic Scene Mapping Using Lasers

This course will teach you how to use laser mapping equipment, including speed lasers and total stations, to determine scene dimensions for later renderings in scale diagrams. You will learn the various methods for obtaining accurate scene measurements and the proper procedures for setting-up, testing, and operating the laser mapping devices. Much of the course includes hands on use of laser mapping equipment, locating and measuring evidence, and downloading the result data.
