In this course, you will learn how to serve as a peer counselor, conduct individual psychological debriefings, make appropriate referrals for peers and their family members and connect these approaches to the enhancement of human resiliency. Special emphasis will be placed on the stress of undercover operations, assignments to high-risk or specialized teams, exposure to critical incidents and the effects of a depressed economy.
