Advanced Forensic Photography

This course will teach you how to photographically document evidence when conditions or situations are less than ideal. You will learn court accepted enhancement techniques using Adobe Photoshop as well as image management systems for archiving your agency's photos. We'll show you how to use advanced lighting techniques to record your evidence and you will use the various macro/close-up settings of your camera for "hands-on" practice in photographing a variety of items in both daylight and nighttime conditions. In addition, we'll also teach you how to develop standard operating procedures for governing the daily workflow of image management keeping in mind courtroom chain of custody concerns.
